Lungo - 1.5.0 - Prevent your Mac from sleeping.

Lungo prevents your Mac from falling asleep and your screen from dimming.

Lungo can be useful when:

  • Doing a presentation at work
  • Watching YouTube videos in non-fullscreen mode
  • Reading a long article without scrolling
  • Cooking and having the recipe open on your computer
  • Using the screen to view live stats
  • Monitoring progress on a long running task

What’s New in Lungo

Version 1.5.0:

  • Now requires macOS 10.13
  • Added “2 Hours” and “8 Hours” durations
  • Added “Allow Display to Sleep” setting. This will let the display sleep normally, but still keep your Mac from going to sleep
  • Added “Dim Icon When Deactivated” setting. This will make the icon dimmer when Lungo is deactivated to make the difference between the activated/deactivated state clearer
  • Added support for custom URL scheme. This is for advanced users that would like to script Lungo. Try running `$ open ‘lungo:activate?minutes=10’` in the Terminal app

Requirements for Lungo

  • Intel, 64-bit processor
  • macOS 10.13 or later

  • CAN NOT DOWNLOAD: Some probably encounter the following error: This site can’t be reached ...sundryfiles.com’s server IP address could not be found. DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NXDOMAIN. In this case, please use Google DNS and you will get rid of trouble.
  • If downloaded file can not be extracted (file corrupted...), please make sure you have downloaded the file completely and don't use Winzip, it sucks! We would recommend using The Unarchiver.
  • By reason, the App does not work and can not be opened. Mostly, just Disable the Gatekeeper, and you get rid of troubles.
