Transmit is an excellent FTP (file transfer protocol), SFTP, S3 (Amazon.com file hosting) and iDisk/WebDAV client that allows you to upload, download, and delete files over the internet. With the most Mac-like interface available, Transmit makes FTP as simple, fun, and easy as it can possibly be.
What’s New in Transmit
Version 5.2.2:
Improved
- SFTP connections now use the default server permissions when creating a new folder
- Drag and drop performance improvements
- SSH library improvements
Improved
- Fixed an issue where transferring an expanded file tree in list view could result in files being copied multiple times to root folder
- Batch Rename pane no longer has overlapping text in French localization
- Fixed ‘File Synchronize’ configuration labels that incorrectly used dark text when using light system appearance
- Resolved an issue where files starting with specific unicode characters were unable to be downloaded via drag & drop
Requirements for Transmit
- Intel, 64-bit processor
- OS X 10.11 or later
- CAN NOT DOWNLOAD: Some probably encounter the following error: This site can’t be reached ...sundryfiles.com’s server IP address could not be found. DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NXDOMAIN. In this case, please use Google DNS and you will get rid of trouble.
- If downloaded file can not be extracted (file corrupted...), please make sure you have downloaded the file completely and don't use Winzip, it sucks! We would recommend using The Unarchiver.
- By reason, the App does not work and can not be opened. Mostly, just Disable the Gatekeeper, and you get rid of troubles.
